CredBlu is NOT a credit repair organization as defined under the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.). CredBlu does not remove, dispute, or alter information on your credit report. CredBlu builds positive credit history by reporting on-time installment payments to nationwide consumer reporting agencies.
You have rights under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including the right to obtain a free copy of your credit report from each nationwide consumer reporting agency once every 12 months at AnnualCreditReport.com, and the right to dispute inaccurate information directly with the consumer reporting agency. CredBlu reports accurate account activity in accordance with the FCRA.
CredBlu does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract), receipt of public assistance, or the good-faith exercise of any rights under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The federal agency that administers compliance is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 1700 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20552.
By enrolling and electronically signing CredBlu agreements, you consent under the federal E-SIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) to receive disclosures, agreements, statements, and notices electronically. You may withdraw consent by emailing [email protected], but doing so may prevent us from continuing to provide the Services. You confirm you have the hardware and software (a current browser and a valid email address) to access electronic records.
CredBlu collects nonpublic personal information about you (such as name, address, DOB, SSN, payment history) to provide the Services. We share this information only with service providers (e.g., payment processors, identity verification, credit bureaus, cloud hosting) bound by confidentiality and security obligations, and as otherwise required by law. We do not sell your personal information. Our information-security program includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
To help the U.S. government fight terrorism and money laundering, federal law requires CredBlu and our financial partners to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. We may ask for your name, address, date of birth, SSN, and a copy of your government-issued photo ID.
Active-duty military servicemembers and certain dependents may be entitled to benefits and protections under the federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and analogous state laws, including limitations on interest and fees. To request SCRA benefits, contact [email protected] with documentation of active-duty status.
